June 18th, 2022 at Knoxville Raceway marks the date Carpenter set foot in a Camping World Nascar truck courtesy of Niece Motorsports. If you have one or more business vehicles, wrapping them will bolster your marketing efforts. However, before you can expand your outreach with these vibrant graphics, you must prepare each car or truck in the fleet for its vinyl vehicle wrap. 3 Preparation Steps for Wrapping a Vehicle 1. Address Blemishes Vehicle wraps adhere directly to the paint, so if the car or truck has any visible dents, chips, or scratches, it will be impossible to achieve a smooth, flawless finish. Inspect your vehicle closely for imperfections a week or two before getting it wrapped. If you notice any issues, head to a local auto shop or detailer that can repair or buff out imperfections. 2. Get the Car Washed Take the vehicle to the car wash the day before the wrap job. The cleaner the panels are, the better the wrap will adhere, and the longer it will last. Make sure the car wash has a non-wax option because the residue will hinder the application of the wrap. Skip the wheel shining if the car wash uses an oil- or silicon-based protectant. This protectant can spray up onto the side panels once the wheels are in motion, leaving a residue that could impede the wrap. 3. Confirm the Design On the day of the wrap job, don’t just drop off the vehicle and leave. Give yourself time to go into the shop and confirm the logistics of the final design. If you need to make any last-minute changes, it’s better to do so before the installation gets started. Review the location of the wrap’s critical elements. This will ensure the logo and all relevant information is visible, and that half of your logo or slogan isn’t cut off by a window, for example. For stunning vehicle wraps that are as durable as they are eye-catching, turn to AGGRESSIVE in Madison County, IL. This locally owned and -operated shop specializes in promotional graphics, serving businesses throughout the Metro East area. From quality craftsmanship to hard work, building a successful business requires multiple components. One of the most valuable aspects is advertising. Effectively marketing your company and its services or products offers both short- and long-term financial benefits. Below is a closer look at why it is significant. The Importance of Business Advertising 1. Promote Products or Services Marketing specific products or services is a critical component in boosting revenue. The step lets the audience learn more about what you are offering in an appealing way that makes them want to learn more. As a result, you should include contact information in the design. Putting your website, social media accounts, and phone number in your marketing material gives potential customers many ways to contact you and learn about the business. 2. Boost Brand Awareness For a customer to choose your business over a competitor’s, they must find you. Advertising introduces them to your company in a pressure-free approach. Such brand recognition helps build a company’s reputation as a trustworthy establishment in the minds of buyers because they recognize the name and logo. To ensure you’re catching the eye of viewers, the finished product must stand out. For that reason, prioritizing graphic design during the planning process is essential. Work with a professional to ensure the final result translates across different mediums—from car wraps to roadside signs. 3. Reach Current Customers One of the most profitable relationships for a business is repeat customers. However, providing reliable work isn’t enough to keep them coming back. To accomplish that feat, you must get your business to stick in their mind. Advertising helps achieve that by providing a visual aid to stimulate their memory of your past work and their satisfaction with it. Signage isn’t just for businesses. Schools can use window decals and wall wraps featuring logos, mascots, and other designs for various promotional purposes. From advertising athletics and clubs to overhauling your exterior and interior design, the right signage can provide a major upgrade to a school’s image. Here are the biggest benefits of promotional graphics for schools. A School’s Guide to Utilizing Wall Wraps & Window Decals 1. Makes a Good First Impression Whether you’re welcoming in the newest class or recruiting new students, attractive wall wraps and window decals can make a great first impression. Graphic design is all about attracting attention and eliciting the right emotional response. Schools want to impress students, parents, and guests as soon as they walk through the doors, and a professionally-made sign shows them that the school takes pride in its image. 2. Enhances Privacy Many schools are looking for additional ways to improve security for their students. When placed along school entrances and other sensitive locations, window decals provide a subtle and inexpensive safety measure. Covering windows and entrances with these films can prevent outsiders from looking in, protecting student privacy. 3. Boosts School Spirit Every school wants to create a friendly and supportive community where all students feel welcome. One of the most common ways to build community in an academic environment is by promoting school spirit. Energetic window decals and wall wraps that feature your school colors, logo, mascot, or another shared symbol will remind students that they’re all in it together. Consider wrapping the walls of baseball dugouts, sports locker rooms, cafeterias, or concession stands with graphics to promote school spirit and unity. 4. Shields Students’ Eyes As the rising sun shines through classroom windows, it can be difficult for students and faculty to concentrate. Not only is bright light distracting, but it can also hurt or damage eyes over time—even when beaming through window glass. Using decals on windows can help shield eyes and provide an extra layer of protection against ultraviolet rays. 5. Provides Important Information Bulletin boards and morning announcements are a go-to way for schools to spread information, but they’re also easy for students to ignore. Wall wraps and window decals are designed to be large, eye-catching, and impossible to overlook when placed in high-traffic areas, like the cafeteria. These promotional graphics are a great way to provide information about the school, upcoming events, and important messages you want students to see. When you need a professional graphic design company to supply your school with high-quality wall wraps and window decals, turn to the team at AGGRESSIVE. Vehicle wraps are one of the best ways to provide name recognition and publicity for your business. However, they need to be maintained properly, especially during the fall and winter months. Here are some vehicle maintenance tips that will keep your car wrap in perfect condition. How to Care for Your Vehicle Wrap This Winter 1. Wash the Car Regularly Get your car washed weekly to remove any grime, dirt, and salt from the wrap. Salt can dehydrate and corrode the material, and grime and dirt can permanently discolor it. If you notice residue between car washes, you can use a hose to remove the debris. Keep the water warm—but not hot—since extreme temperature changes could crack the windshield. Don’t use any harsh cleaners to scrub your vehicle, as this can make damage worse. 2. Utilize Covered Parking Park your car in a garage, carport, or other covered parking structure as often as possible once snow starts to fall. This will keep the vehicle warm and protect the wrap from severe weather. If you have to park your car in an uncovered spot, stay away from trees where snow, ice, or branches can fall and damage your windshield, car, or wrap. 3. Fix Holes & Scratches ASAP Small holes or scrapes in your vehicle wrap may not seem like a big deal, but they can worsen over time. Getting them fixed early on can prevent costly or extensive future repairs. Get your wrap touched up as soon as possible to keep it in great condition. 4. Don’t Use a Scraper It may be tempting to use an ice scraper on your wrapped auto glass or even on the body of your car. However, this can easily scratch the vinyl, requiring expensive repairs. Instead, use a soft cloth or brush to get rid of snow. If you’re dealing with ice, make a de-icing spray using two parts 70% isopropyl alcohol and one part water. You can spray it on your windshield and quickly remove any ice or snow in the morning without having to break out the ice scraper.
